PLANT-BASED SORCERY AT THE WI


My plant-based cuisine demonstration for the Women's Institute at the Boxgrove Memorial Hall near Chichester on Friday was tremendous fun. I was very ably assisted by Sous-Chef, who deftly cooked no less than 80 onion bhaji pancakes to go with a pineapple and cucumber salad, while I demonstrated Hot Sweet Coconut Dhal with a pomegranate and cashew topping and North African Bean Salad. We had a lovely, lively audience of 60 members who showed great interest in the nutritional side of the recipes and then tucked into all the dishes with true relish.
